I've known Rocky from the mid-eighties, we've known each other for quite a while. I hooked up with Ashley in 1990 through Black Market Records, so we all sort of met up, kinda hung out and decided to go into the studio.
The inspiration for us when we first started out was a lot of American house music. Producers like DJ Pierre. But we were also into a lot of the European stuff, Hardfloor Experience was definitely an influence at the time and both those two sources inspired us to go into the studio and make our first single ‘Muzik X-Press’. Then we just sort of carried on, we did 'London X-Press' and did load of singles for Junior Boys Own. It sort of grew from there really.
 We had about three or four years off because we were busy doing other things. Ashley was doing Black Science Orchestra and Black Jazz Chronicles also, together we were doing the Ballistic Brothers, Rocky was doing Problem Kids and I was doing things for a few other labels. It was Terry Farley that suggested that we should re-group again and do a re-union comeback single. We went in for the hell of it and that was how AC/DC came about. It was after that we thought maybe it might be an idea to do an album. One thing lead to another and we signed a deal to Skint records.
We were completely blown away with how 'Lazy' went. It was a real shock and far exceeded all our expectations. We've never had success at that kind of level and it was hard to take in, but it was brilliant.
 At the the moment we're putting the finishing touches to our next single, which is going to be 'I Want You Back' with Deiter Meier , that should be out in September. Also Deiter Meier is going to be with us in Ibiza. We are going to be doing some DJ sets at the Underwater night at Pacha, that's going to be cool.
