Jo Whiley kicked off Friday from the mobile studio in the backstage compound. With a show jam packed with festival fun she entertained Ed Harcourt and Idlewild, both of which were kind enough to bring their guitars long.
Ed Harcourt, un-fresh from the tour bus caused a stink in the tiny studio, recommended that we check out The Vines and The White Stripes and that we should enjoy the festival toilets before Saturday. Not only that he performed an acoustic version of 'Apple Of My Eye'. Listen to the track here
Glastonbury veterans Idlewild returned to the festival to play for the third time after a gig in Colchester the night before. Roddy recommended a trip to the green field to practice yogic breathing. The band were also good enough to play an acoustic version of their latest single 'American English'. Listen to the track here
