The Fence

Glastonbury is sold out. If you are thinking about coming to this years' Glastonbury without a ticket then please think again. The future of the festival depends on the numbers being kept within the terms of the licence. Please read the following carefully, you need to know this.

The new fence

In 2000 twice as many people came to the festival than were allowed under the terms of the licence.

As a result there was no Glastonbury last year.

In order for the festival to continue the organisers have to keep the numbers within the limits shown to be safe.

Security arrangements have been reviewed and a new fence that cannot be dismantled, climbed over or tunnelled under is in place.

The fence will be constantly patrolled by a professional security service.

Cars without ticket holders will not be allowed on to the site.

Those without tickets will not be allowed on to the buses going to the site.

Remember - NO TICKET NO FESTIVAL
