Gilles Peterson All Winners 2006 

So it's that time again where we celebrate the music and people who have made an outstanding contribution to the scene.

Every year we ask you to vote for the track, album, session, club and record label of the year. We also have the the 'John Peel 'Play More Jazz' Award' for the artist, producer or band really blew your mind in 2006 - this year's most original musical boundary breaker.

And we've got a new addition for 2006… for the best music shop, either real or online, of the year.

Your deadline is midnight, Wednesday 13th December. For the track of the year and the album of the year we've given you a quick reminder. Nominee at the bottom of the page

Also this year we have a very special lucky dip… When the voting stops, we are going to pull an email address out of the hat and give one voter the record collection of the year… all seventy albums from the Gilles Peterson Album Winners shortlist. Not bad at all.

The albums and tracks of the year will be celebrated in two very special Gilles Peterson Worldwide Winners shows starting December 27th.

For all the other catagories we will be having a very special Gilles Peterson's Awards night somewhere in the UK on January 19th. Watch this space for details.
