Your reviews of the mix
What was wrong with Pete Tong?? - Mixing was all over the place! not normal for him! Loved the euphoric set from Dave Pearce.
i have been listening to trance music for soo many years i cant remember, judge jules was my radio 1 favourite. I cant belive he was bad tonight, but then again im a raido 1 listenor online, and he was bad. Great stuff dave pearce you rocked the house, ive been listening to u ever since. Keep up the work radio 1 the nightclubs out here are shit unless one of u guys are playing, so get out here soon. love u guys (keep it coming).
Delboy, the Kaisers remix is Kaiser Chiefs - 'Everyday' [Boyz Noiz Mix] (B-Unique) ;-)
great mix , from all enjoyed the whole show but, just anxious of fergies tracklisting, come on fergie (",)
I enjoyed this mix its like having a nightclub in your own house. Great vibe, more of the same Radio 1.
I was listening to Mylo's set earlier and it was very nice. His transitions are exceptionally smooth this time out and I love how he has the ear to drop things in melodic style. Can't wait for his next full length. Overall, I think that Tong's set was the best, followed by Mylo, then Jules, Pearce, and Annie last. (Sorry Annie) Must have been a great time over there. Keep the mixes coming guys!
Why don't you guys do one of these in NYC?
Thought Julesy, Fergie, Tongy and Annie Macs mixes wer quite good. didnt like Dave Pearce but...Mixin was bad, an wat the hell is he playing adagio 4 strings 4...dat tune is just out the window like...o yea luved mylo 2...
Gutted i cudn`t get there, won tickets 4 the friday aswell. What a Fantastic night though! eh!
Fergie and Judge Jules impressed me. Even though i detest trance music i respect Judge Jules as a professional - he can put a good set together and can read a crowd well. Also congratulations to Fergie for playing thoroughly fresh sounding music and moving forward musically as a dj. As for Dave Pearce and Pete Tong, what a living joke. They need to go to the big grey, balding DJ retirement home. Give it up! Also, what is the score with Annie Mac - where's the story there, it's not real - where has she come from, has she worked her way through the crappy club circuit and worked hard and made a name for herself - NO!! Wasn't she just a journalist who worked some angles - sounds like it. Anyway, fair dos to Fergie and the Judge
Unfortunately couldnt make it to the Dance Party, sounded awesome though, atmosphere rocked but then again the crowd rocked right through from Friday to Sunday, YEEEEAAAAASSSSS!!
Just listened to Pete Tong, Judge Jules and Dave Pearce some excellent tunes from the Tongster, usual faster stuff from Judge and anthems from Dave Pearce as usual which wouldve rocked the place no doubt.
Anyway cheers to Radio 1 for a fantastic weekend, was at Camperdown on Saturday, magic!!
not bad, very commercial, dave pearce was the best id say, which was surprising. tong did his thing, annie macc was ok buts it not clubbing music in my eyes, diluted dance at best, nice to listen to but not to go out. Mylo shpylo ....yawn.
Andy Farley please....thatdb lovely
oh dear julesy forgot how to mix again....nice tunes though, not exactly fresh....
pete tong was the best i'd say, an im a hard house man
Please hurry with the Fergie listings, dying to know wht the kaiser chiefs mix was ! Ta.
Very good vibe from Pete Tong and Dave Pearce
Good choose of track!
Me luv the Annie Mac part!
totally cool mix very very good
Over all, Radio 1 in Dundee was a awesome success however i feel let down by your 'dance party' from London superclub. I'm a trance dj & have been for many years & felt the dj's on the line up could of put alot effort into such a big event. After cutting back on cost's which lead to not-so-many dance partys you would of thought the dj's would have been looking forward to this one more than ever. No doubt the club atmosphere was great but it just sounded lack-lusted over the airwaves, including the 'odd' comment stated. I think you should of had a dance party tent during the day/late afternoon & played the recording back later that night (giving you the option of edit) I'm just amazed they didn't pull out all the stops just as you did for the main event as dance music has it's place too. Hopefully we'll expect more during Escape & GodsKitchen later this so-called summer. Rant over!!!
Not really into the type of stuff that Annie Mac, Pete tong and Mylo play but absolutely loved the sets from Judge Jules and dave pearce. Now these guys can certainly rock a night club
What can I say ??? Hahaha you guys were just plain amazing...how good were those records :P...there´s nothing better than the radio one djs doing live sets...I love you all :P I just feel sorry for having to hit you on Listen Again...because while you were in Dundee, there was Skol Beats over here ;) It was massive this year!!!! I couldn´t go to last year´s...but I´ve heard loads of people saying WHAT IS TO DANCE when a R1 DJ is in the mix. Congratulations to you all guys, and keep it up.
The Dave Pearce set was the best, i was quite impressed especially as he plays way different on his own show. Overall a great live essential mix from Dundee!
Great Essential Mix who reminds the celebration of 10 years in Ibiza somehow...Mylo & Pete Tong's sets the best by far...keep it that way.
Would have been great if you all would shut the hell up. We know it's Radio1. You guys are great. Play the damn music.
Amazing .... I love Radio 1 . Nice atmosfera.
Good mix and sounded like a better party. I dont think anything compares to Tiga's masterclass Essential mix from a few weeks ago.
What an amazing night. The Club London is awesome..what a LINE-UP.! serious sound system..Mylo rocked
