Rules and Regulations

1. Entry is open to all UK residents (incl. Channel Islands and the Isle of Man) aged 18 or over, except BBC employees, any person connected to the competition and their close relatives. Proof of age, identity and eligibility may be requested.

2. Entrants can enter by calling 03700 100 100 when they hear the cue to call and the competition line will remain open for approximately 20 minutes. Standard geographic charges apply and calls may be included in your telecom provider’s call package. Calls from mobiles may be higher.

3. Entrants must ensure they obtain the bill-payer’s consent before entering.

4. Entries received after the telephone lines have closed will not be accepted.

5. The production team will select from all the entrants the 3 most enthusiastic and lively to take part in the competition live on-air. The first contestant will be asked 3 questions and if all answered correctly will win the prize. If an incorrect answer is received then the second caller will be given the opportunity and so on until the prize has been won.

6. Entrants who have made it to the on-air question round are excluded from reentering the competition.

7. The BBC’s decision as to the winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.

8. The prizes are as described above. There is no cash alternative and the prize cannot be sold or transferred in any circumstances.

9. The BBC will not reimburse the winners for any costs incurred in attending the event i.e. travel and accommodation.

10. The BBC will not be responsible for any failure by the ticket holders to gain entry or re-entry to the event due to the behaviour of the ticket holder or their failure to meet the admission requirements of the event.

11. Entrants must agree to take part in any post-competition publicity if required.

12. The BBC reserves the right to: (i) vary the telephone line opening times of the ticket-giveaway; (ii) disqualify any entrant who breaches the rules or has acted fraudulently in any way; (iii) withdraw any prize, at any stage, should any winner or their guest exhibit inappropriate or dangerous behaviour (including, but not limited to being under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs or chemical substances or causing a nuisance) and; (iv) cancel the competition, at any stage, if in its opinion it is deemed necessary or if circumstances arise outside its control.

13. The BBC, its sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem which may result in any entry being lost, not properly registered or tickets not arriving.

15. The voting in this programme accords with the BBC's Code of Conduct for Competitions and Voting, details of which can be found on the BBC'S Standards and Guidelines website.

16. The promoter of the competition is the British Broadcasting Corporation and the applicable law is the laws of England and Wales.

17. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them when registering.
