Straight Edge was part of the punk revolution of the late Seventies. It began as a track from Washington hardcore act, Minor Threat but has grown into a way of life for millions. They don't drink, they don't smoke, they don't take drugs and they don't have casual sex.

Back in 2003, Steve Lamacq discovered the history behind one of the strangest movements in music.
