Hey i think flying eagle superhero beats all of them, he is cool! and he is real!
Franco, Rosario
Aye! Sorry, Batman may be dark, but his motivation is kind of childish, in the sense that he can't get past the death of his parents, he's someone motivated by his anger, and that is kinda teenage-y. Superman in the other hand, is motivated by love (yeah, I know, it sounds kind of hippie, dosn't it?, but anyways), he dosn't want to see the people and the planet that he loves exploding or something. Love is a much more psychologically mature motivation than anger. Batman is also much more limitated, he operates almost exclusively in Gotham. You can't send him to other planets or universes or something. Also, the fact Superman is "too" strong can be seen as a good thing, 'cuz you can throw really big cosmic-level menaces at him. And "darkness" in superheroes is just a trend, and a quickly fading one at that. By the way, great Grant Morrison bits in the documentary.

Superman is the ne plus ultra of superheroes, and the new film does him proud!

No way! Superman is anodyne. Batman is by far the coolest superhero. You need a little bit of darkness to be cool.
