Trevor Nelson at Bar 38 Broadcast date: 22 Oct 2000 11pm, Sunday night. It can only mean one thing: Trevor Nelson bringing you The Rhythm Nation live from Bar 38 in Cardiff Bay. Featuring live sets from Omar and newcomer Shaun Escoffery, fine tunes from Trevor, and a bar full of beautiful people, one thing was certain - no one got to bed early tonight... ![]() Since Judge Jules and Pete Tong have already done their thing in Cardiff, it's only natural that Trevor should round off the weekend with the best in R&B - and he's definitely happy to be here. ![]() Anna and Tracy from Lakeside have made their way to Cardiff tonight especially to see Trevor: "He's absolutely fabulous!" ![]() Whereas Trevor and Matthew from Bristol know that when an opportunity arises to drink champagne, they've got to be there! ![]() And now for some live music: Shaun Escoffery takes to the stage to perform 'Spacerider' - a big tune on Trevor's show, due for release very soon, with a remix from MJ Cole. ![]() How to follow that? Trevor drops 'Wifey' by Next. ![]() Next up: Omar, who performs songs from his new album for the Cardiff crowd, including hot tunes 'Something Real' and 'Essential'. ![]() But there's no way he's going to be let off the stage until he performs 'Nothing Like This'. Of course, he's happy to oblige. ![]() So you want a big tune? Trevor plays Common's 'The Light' and the crowd love it! ![]() Especially these two... Anna and Beefy from Cardiff show off their moves: "Big up to Trevor!" ![]() And more champagne gets drunk - Mykee, Giles and Lexus are definitely here to have a good time... ![]() ...As are Natalie and Suzie from Cheshire, who won tickets on Radio 1 for the show tonight.
