Tonight was the biggest show of the week so far. Both Coldplay and JJ72 are on a roll at the moment, the gig was a sell-out, there were queues round the block to get in,
and touts wringing every penny out of the few tickets they could get their hands on.
Zabrinski are in the position the headliners were in 18 months ago - the Session on their case and word starting to spread. There seemed to be dozens of them, and whilst they looked a tad nervous as they shuffled on stage after Steve Lamacq announced them, they didn't sound it...
JJ72 must be the biggest band this week who aren't headlining. They've been getting more press than they probably bargained for - and that wasn't the only attention Mark was getting

One young lady called Marks name with such ardour that he DEFINITELY blushed...
One of the best times to catch a band live it when it's just kicking off for them and they can still hardly believe it...
JJ72 are giving off that kind of bewildered excitement at the moment...
...in fact they are so full of the joys of life that they willingly roll out their 'showbiz' pose in the dressing-room...
...and we asked Mark and Feargal what it was like being back in a support slot for a change... this is what they said
It would be easy to forget that when Coldplay brought out 'Brothers and Sisters' on Fierce Panda last year they were another unknown band with a good tune who had made it onto the Evening Session...

Coldplay gigs for the last several months have radiated confidence - and being live on the radio and the internet didn't slow them down at all.
...want to know if they played that song you love? They did...

...in fact, at the end they simply kept coming back for more... the encores were a mini show in themselves
You would expect a band to need a good shower after a show like that - but the webteam blagged into their dressing room right after they came off stage to find them totally chilled out and happy to talk...
