The Music rule. Shame that I wasn't able to see Starsailor as well. I'd have missed a week of uni to see them both.
Felix
Hope of the States were brilliant, sounded completely different to everyone else that night...it was epic.

6 of us came from South Wales to see THE MUSIC for the fourth time this year. This band keep getting better and are the ultimate live band. Gotta get some proper recognition soon! Roll on the next album! Banging!
Call me what you like (Ginnie)
Amazing performance Keane - no more "rubbernecking" at others flying in front of you - you are so much "closer now"! Starsailor & ESP were OK but Keane are just so different!
amy
Just amazing!! Keane totally blew me away. I LOVE THEM!!! Hope that now they'll get the recognition that they truly deserve. Just a bonus that they're from sunny Sussex!
Pat
Keane are going to be huge!!!
MisTy J
The music at the Corn Exchange, just mindblowingly fab! The Music provide the best energy, the best buzz and blissed out wall of sound grooves ever. Gotta be the best live band around. Rob Harvey is incredible, such a comminicator, interacts with the crowd and gives everything and more, you can just see he is so totally lost in the sounds, Phil's drumming too.........wow!!!! The whole band are astonishing, for such little young thangs!!! Can't wait for the new album and cant wait to see them again, need another fix of The Music live soon.......:-)
Chop Masta Chang
The Music gig was the ultimate!
Kelly
The Music, were incredible!! Rob Harvey is a god! They all played with pure passion and emotion x
Clark from Daze One
Hi I'm the singer of Daze One the band that won Steve Lamacq's Demo Idol. I want to thank everyone for a great day...great music, great people. Cheers for coming down to Brighton...its changed our lives for the better!
nikki hollands
Aaaaahhhhhh it was an absolutely intense gig. All the bands were amazin especially Starsailor of course. The most enjoyable thing was meeting Electric Soft Parade though, it was so weird I came out of the toilets and they were walking straight towards me they are ssssssooooo lovely and Matt remembers my name aaaahhhhhhh. They are really cool and amazin I was flattered that they took time 2 have a chat. Well done to Daze One for having the best demo and winning free tickets. Richard I'm very proud. Overall it was a fantastic night and Starsailor were absolutely floorless in their performance.
Banista!
Adam F is the man!!! His technical skill and choice of tunes makes him the GOD of new aged drum 'n' bass!!
Gary Foley
Me & a mate came all the way from Greenock in Scotland just to see The Music. Absolutely superb, good to hear some new songs, but the Jag Tune and Alone were stand outs !!! My ears are still ringing, but well worth it! It's about time The Music started getting proper recognition!! keep it going lads !! Bo selecta!
Steve
The Breezeblock show on Monday night with Adam F and Dave Clarke was a total stormer! Gig Of The Year for me!!!
Joe
Fantastic show at the Corn Exchange - The Blueskins and Hope of the States set things up perfectly for an incredibly loud, lengthy and groovy set by The Music. Thought the speakers were going to blow during 'Getaway', it was THAT good!
katie
KEANE WERE AMAZING! Third time seeing them, they just get better each time! Keane are the best!
Alex Hill
I have been a fan since they released their first single and saw them at V2002 in Stafford, where they played their socks off! In the Dome, they blew me away with how they had beefed up their sound and mixed old and new songs very well, and with James being humble, humorous and passionate throughout made the gig one I will not forget in a hurry! In a word: EXCELLENT!!!!!!!
rick
Drove all the way from Leeds to see The Music. For me the greatest live band going at the moment, truly amazing. Rob Harvey Rocks! Really enjoyed the Blueskins too they were cool.
Toad of Toad Hall
Good ay? All 3 bands, must say nice venue. Added bonus of meeting James Walsh too, just hope my picture comes out that I took!
Ken
Starsailor were brilliant. Keane were great too, the lead singer had a superb voice, but I think that ESP have lost it a bit, not a patch on when they supported Oasis last year.
Ollie
I'm sorry to say it was an anti-climax last night. To me Keane were by far the best band on the night. Chapman's voice is amazing, he truly feels the music. Shame ESP and Starsailor couldn't live up to Keane's performance.
elmsyrup
Anything with Keane in it gets my vote. Anything at all...
Simon
Last time I saw Starsailor was in the driving rain at The Fleadh a couple of years ago - they were superb then but last night they were pure class - a truly fantastic band. My three year old won't stop singing Shark food - he loves it!
Will
The Music rocked they were fantastic, got a setlist too yey!!!
Gaz Scott
Seeing Starsailor and E.S.P was truly a great night. It was an awesome experience and I hope that Keane make it big because they are superb as well.
Sharon nr Brighton
What an awesome gig! I have seen them before but much prefered this venue. As a result my mate has been converted to a Starsailor fan. Can't wait til the next one.
Brighton dave
Radio 1 Live - What a yawn??
Norman Cook - who's he.
The usual rent a mob DJs come to Brighton to relive their youth.
Sorry to say it Radio 1,
Norman Cook, Sara Cox, Lamacq, Jo Wiley.
These people are the past!!
Martyn Ball
Drove 320 miles to see Mark Bell (a.k.a. LFO) the best music producer in the world. Worth every mile...
Sam
I came down to play at the one live cafe with my band Daze One, then we won Steve Lamacq's Demo Idol. We were then put on the Starsailor guestlist and we had bloody great time. All bands were superb and we got to meet lots of record labels managers. we also stole Zane Lowe's Big Issue. YEEHAA!!
Duncan
I went to One Live to see Electric Soft Parade and Starsailor and was blown away. ESP were great, but starsailor were blinding. One of the best concerts I have seen so far... also a little tip look out for 'Fall to the Floor' when it comes out it will go crashing up the charts to the top!!! They were simply awesome.
Claire
Starsailor were absolutely fantastic - how good was James Walsh's voice?! Loved Keane too - agree they are going to be massive.
Daze One (local band)
Great gig, Keane will be massive, ESP v.good, Starsailor sealed the night very well. All the more enjoyable because of the free tickets! Thanks.
Gemma in Brighton
Without sounding like a brown noser thanks Radio 1 & Starsailor for a fantastic night! If only this could happen every night!
Colin Beresford
Went to see the Music last night at the Corn Exchange, what an awesome performance, a good crowd and a nice very very loud sound system!
matt dutch
I have not seen a better live performance as the one from Starsailor last night. I'm a huge Gene fan and was disappointed that they weren't there, as Mr Rossister is a resident. Starsailor were very tight and what a wonderful venue. Thanks!
Laura & Alicia in Brighton
Loved Keane, saw them last night. Truly think they're gonna be the next big thing!
James in Brighton
Been a fan of Starsailor for a long time but never been able to get to see them until last night. Great venue and Starsailor were absolutely awesome
phil
Absolutely positively brilliant. Got better (and louder) as the night went on. That'll be tough to match!
Garry Hughes
Didn't get down to Brighton last night but listened to it on the Radio and it sounded ace. The pictures are brilliant too. Last night has put me in the mood for what should be a superb week of live music...
