Thursday 30 October - Saturday 1 November
Noon-6pm Media Try-outs
Get out and about in Brighton and produce, film and edit a short film.

Get behind the desk and present the BBC news, then find out how to get work at the BBC.

It's the original reality TV; make a video short for Video Nation about your favourite subject - you!

Try-out as a Radio 1 DJ. Can you introduce the next track? Find out if you've got what it takes and get tips from Radio 1 producers.

Thursday 30 October
2-3pm Sound Ideas
Find out how to boost your creativity and make your ideas a reality - with help from Zane Lowe and his team

Guests: Andy Parfitt (Controller, Radio 1 & 1Xtra), Zane Lowe (Radio 1), Joe Harland (Senior Producer, Evenings, Radio 1), Rob Lewis (Producer, Zane Lowe), Annie MacManus (Broadcast Assistant, Zane Lowe) and others TBC.

4-5pm VJing
Radio 1's Russell Miller explains the technical & creative processes of club visuals - it's easier & cheaper than you think.

Friday 31 October
2-3pm Hack into Journalism
A panel of national and local journalists and editors give advice on how to break into the business.

Guests: Sam Steele (Producer, Radio 1), Julia Day (The Guardian), Conor McNicholas (NME), Julian Linley (Heat), Jakki Phillips (Brighton Evening Argus/This is Brighton).

3-4pm One-to-One Journalism Advice
Music and media journalists give feedback and industry tips for writers. Bring some of your work and get it looked over.

Guests: Julia Day (The Guardian), Conor McNicholas (NME), Paige Toon (Heat), Jakki Phillips (Brighton Evening Argus/This is Brighton) plus others TBC.

4-5pm On the Air
Radio 1 DJs, Producers and Head Honchos answer your questions on how to get into radio.

Guests: Rhys Hughes (Executive Producer, Specialist Music, Radio 1), Fergie (Radio 1), Nemone (Radio 1), Briggy Smale (Entertainment Reporter, Radio 1), Kevin Silverton (Assistant Editor, Newsbeat), Hannah Brown (Executive Producer, Weekend Shows, Radio 1)

2-5pm Networking Masterclasses (one per hour)

A chance to grill some leading club DJs on how to break it big
