Razorlight


Don't worry if you don't get a ticket to Radio 1's Big Weekend. There's lots of ways you can see and hear it.

Radio


In the week running up to Radio 1's Big Weekend we'll have artists dropping into shows playing live and chatting. Colin and Edith will also be touring Scotland on the Road to the Big Weekend.

Over the weekend we will be live from the site bringing you live sets, interviews and acoustic performances. On Friday and Saturday night we'll be live from Dundee's clubs.

TV


From 19.00 on Saturday and Sunday night you'll be able to see all the action from both stages on digital TV. If you have digital satellite, digital cable or Freeview you'll be able to press red from any BBC TV channel and see the show.

Also on Saturday and Sunday night BBC THREE will broadcasting two hours of highlights from each day. Watch on Saturday from 23.55 and Sunday from 22.30.

Finally on Sunday night Top of the Pops will be live from the site on BBC TWO from 19.00

Internet


You'll be able to get full coverage of Radio 1's Big Weekend here online.

From Colin and Edith's Road to Big Weekend through to the Closing Party we'll there taking photos and bringing you the backstage news and gossip.

We'll be streaming all the action in broadband video (From 19.00 on Saturday and Sunday). Then for a week after we'll be putting as many full sets as we can online so you can watch them.

Big Screens - Scotland


We are putting up two massive digital screens in Glasgow (George Square) and Inverness (Falcon Square) so you can see the festival.


They are outdoors, free and open to the public.


They are running from:
Friday 12 May: 12.00 - 20.00
Saturday 13 May: 12.00 - 21.30
Sunday 14 May: 12.00 - 21.30


On Friday afternoon we'll be showing highlights from Radio 1's Big Weekend in Sunderland.

On Saturday and Sunday from 14.00 you'll be able to see the live music direct from the main stage at Dundee.

Big Screens - England


The BBC Big Screens will be showing live sets from 19.00 on Saturday and Sunday. You'll find them in:
Birmingham
Hull
Liverpool
Manchester
