Born This Way

The biggest artist in pop has been hatching her plan to bring the biggest live show in pop to Big Weekend since her Monster Ball tour first set it sights on Europe in early March.

The New Yorker treated the lucky ticketholders to a show like they have never seen before. The pomp, posturing and p-p-p-poker face was wedded with lush interludes of piano and jazz trumpet and coffin-based entrances to create a truly unforgettable show.

Can I listen to or watch Lady Gaga perform?

really enjoying seeing the Lady Gaga concert again on-line but I cannot understand why cut out Americano and the fabulous trumpet solo by Brian Newman? Is it available somewhere else?

Gaga was actually only 15 minutes late on. A bit annoying, but her set did then last over an hour when the schedule stated 45 minutes, totally making up for it. I wouldnt have classed myself a mega gaga fan, but i was there and she was beyond AMAZING!!!

Lady GaGa was mind blowing, Its just a shame that the BBC did not keep to their word in prioratising allocation of tickets to us poor folk stuck in the Carlisle and SW Scotland. We do not get t he chance to get down to main concert venues because of our isolation so the one occasion we get a big event, you blew it.
The least you can do to make amends is to show the uncut version or put it out on CD and help the BBC's finances out. I for one would be happy to pay for the Sunday disc.

llady gaga in my view has not been in the business long enough to be given all the accolades she is given. Anyone who thinks Madonna does not have a voice really should listen to Ray of Light. Maybe in 10 year's time when and if lg is still performing we will see who is the best judge.

The Edge of Glory with piano and no other accompaniment confirms Gaga as a top-class performer. The true measure of any artist is their performing live and Gaga certainly did that superbly.

Wow Gaga was just AMAZING, what a singer, performer and artist
she was soooo emotional singing her song edge of glory, but carried on like a true performer......and for all those that are comparing her to madonna, yeah gaga may sometime be compared, but there is ONE massive difference - Gaga CAN sing - Madonna cant and iv seen her live twice!! love you Gaga

If you want to see a performance of all her hits rattled out, hit youtube and look for a video playlist. The point of live performance is not to recreate the CD on a stage. It's all about the show and spectacle. And anyone who hasn't been living in a bubble for the past four years must surely know Lady Gaga is a musical live performance artist and to expect the unexpected. For sure if you're after a close replica of the CD or music video you're following the wrong artist.

Wow - I echo the comments below - wasn't a massive fan but she can really sing...and really dance....and is a great performer! Definitely gone up massively in my estimations. In fact the girls were all amazing - Jessie J, Ellie Golding and GaGa - all great - wish I could have been there x

Absolutely fantastic - what I thought of as a pretty good pop singer has shown herself to be a quality artist. The Jazz section was great and showed her full talent...can't believe anyone not liking that apart from people who only listen to pop on commercial radio....live a little and dive in !

Oh my gosh i cant believe anyone who did not love this performance!!! i was never a huge fan of her until watching that monster performance last night, i was absolutely mesmerised by it all! how down to earth she was, how incredible her voice was...how on earth she can dance like that and sing i will never know! and okay yes she made everyone wait a bit onger for her but dnt all big acts do that? besides i was listening in on the radio and you could hear her talking backstage and she was trying to get the sound and everything perfect before she went out! plus that song about her grandfather had me in tears she was so emotional and just showed how real she is!!! LOVEDDDD GAGA :D xxxxxx

I felt sorry for those fans who had waited so long to see Lady Gaga and she was 40 mins late. You all treat her like a goddess - she isnt - she is a talented singer but she will never be as good as Madonna. The fans had queued all day to see her perform all her hits, not a jazz rendition which was very boring. I am sorry, she did not rock for me

She's not a patch on Madonna, who in her early years was the ultimate original and exciting superstar that Lady Ga Ga is so desperately trying to emulate.

Cut away the hype, image and psychobabble and there’s still a great pop album here.
