Fightstar performing at Radio 1's Big Weekend

Overview

Yes, he used to be in that band, but Charlie has long since graduated into a credible rock talent. The four piece have been through various trials and tribulations in their 5 year career but their new album delivers a bigger and more positive sound that will undoubtedly rock the rafters as they opened the In Music We Trust Stage on Saturday.

Been a fan of Fightstar since they started up and seen them 4 times live so far. Last week at the ABC in Glasgow they were awesome what a live band they are i would reccommend them to anyone.
What i don't understand though is why they are so far down the playlist these guys are mainstagers make no bones about that.
all their albums are amazing but my favourite is the first studio album Grand Unification, if like me you like your music a little bit on the heavy side then give it a try.

im sorry but this is a pretty rubbish set, i saw fightstar on their tour on the 22nd and 23rd of april and they were sooo much better than this! they didnt even do Deathcar or Palahniuks Laughter in this vid! Btw that other guitarist isnt a member of Fightstar he's a mate of the band and went on tour with them, hes in a band called Laruso and is called Carl. Laruso's first album called a classic case of cause and effect is out at the end of may, believe me its INSANE :P

Yeah, Fightstar are an all round awesome band. They played Lighters songs here i believe because there not as much of a heavy audience these are more mainstream indie lovers, So fightstar played there lighter stuff.
The guy with the hat in floods is Carl, hes in a band called Laruso + He is there producer, He is in the Fightstar Studio Diaries on You tube. on this recent tour hes been playing songs where Charlie cant play guitar and Scream at the same time or when he has to play piano.
As far as i know A Classic Case of cause and effect is actually not Laruso's first album. It is there second, either that or there last release was there EP I'm not sure there.

For those that want to see true Fightstar Check these songs:
      Waste a moment
      Build an army
      Paint your target
      Deathcar
      Damocles
      Mono
      Lost like tears in rain
      Grand Unification Pt 1
      Wake Up
      Amethyst
      99
      And finally Tannhauser gate
These are all most what fightstar are about/Like.

Well that was a bit toned down, for obvious reasons.

Their first 3 songs at the Teenage Cancer Trust gigs were:

      Palahnuik's Laughter.
      Tannhauser Gate.
      Grand Unification.

That was a bit more like it.
