This was one of my moments of the year: A first for me, a festival almost blotted out by thick fog in the middle of summer! There was the weird ghostly effect of a fairground ferris wheel swathed in seamist at Wickerman Festival in Kirkcaldy, Scotland. Lowlights - what was the worst? Often it's the one you've been most looking forward to and turns out to be the biggest disappointment. Hero of the year: You can choose anyone from any walk of life you think has really shone in 2008 - music, movies, comedy, Youtube, the arts, politics, sport. Anti-hero of the year: Opposite of the above, a bad dude or dudess. Best club/gig/festival moment: Could be a night at the Annie Nightingale Introducing spring tour of the UK, Sumo in Cardiff, or rocking it with Krafty Kuts in Edinburgh, sliding around at Snowbombing, Jay-Z at Glastonbury, or a great buzz or special second at another festival where everyone just went for it. I'm sure you took pictures. Worst club/gig/festival moment of 2008: Go on, you must have had one - a date that stood you up, the tickets that didn't arrive, the rain that flooded your tent.
