Mobile Phone
FM:
Many mobile phones have an integrated FM radio. Details of FM frequencies can be found on the analogue radio page.
Mobile Internet:
To access the mobile-optimised version of the BBC Radio website, you can either use your phone's web-browser to navigate to www.bbc.co.uk/mobile/radio or alternatively, text the word RADIO to 81010 and we'll send you a link (texts cost 10-15p depending on your network).
From these pages, depending on your particular mobile device, you can access detailed schedules, photo galleries, audio downloads, live streaming radio, podcasts, mobile iPlayer and more.
Please note:
Live radio streams and podcasts are currently only available over a WiFi connection.
Mobile iPlayer is only available on certain mobile devices.
The iPhone/iPod Touch does not currently support BBC Radio live streams, but all other content should be accessible.
Cost advice:
The BBC does not charge for any of its mobile content, but your mobile network operator may charge a flat-rate to access the internet, or for the specific amount of data consumed. If you are unsure of data costs then please contact your operator for more info.
Where the BBC offers downloadable content, such as video clips, images or audio files, you should also see the filesize listed in order to help you calculate any costs incurred. For reference, 1MB = 1024KB.
