  Bassam Abu Sharif, joined a radical Palestinian group in the 1960's and was labelled the 'face of terror' by Time Magazine. He survived an assassination attempt, and as an advisor to Yasser Arafat worked towards a two state solution. He tells Owen Bennett-Jones about his life at the heart of the PLO, and why his people still don't have an independent homeland.
