What are the main benefits of listening via DAB?

DAB Digital radio is a new transmission system that brings all the benefits of digital broadcasting to the world of radio.

Digital Audio Broadcasting gives you:

  • More station choice
  • 'Hiss and crackle' free reception
  • One touch re-tuning with no frequencies to remember
  • Dynamic text information which tells you what and who you are listening to
  • Some radios also carry an EPG allowing the user to record their favourite programmes. Learn more about the EPG from here: What is DAB EPG?
