Matt set his alarm and 'got up with the larks' this morning, setting off at 4.30am. Time was tight for him to reach the BBC Television Centre at 7pm for The One Show Special for BBC Children in Need - the most important deadline of his entire challenge.

He was in high-spirits and bubbling from the start and for breakfast he stopped for some award-winning bangers at North End Farm in Hare Street.

But with almost 60 miles to cover on his last day, and with expected hold-ups getting into London, every minute is important.

Matt desperately wants to make The One Show special on time, please help him with all the support you can muster, and tune in to The One Show at 7pm on BBC One to find out if he's made it !
