About Matt
Matt, known for a bit of challenge, has accomplished a fair few things in his time. During his first TV job on Blue Peter, he trained as a stunt man in Florida, spent a gruelling week with the Royal Marine Commandos, and in 2003 he learnt hang-gliding and became a world record holder for his successful tandem flight.
He is no stranger to BBC Children in Need as in 2009, he helped raise money for the charity by taking part in the '80 Days Around the World' challenge travelling through Russia, Kazakhstan and Mongolia with his 'Countryfile' co-presenter Julia Bradbury.
