Pudsey Tips: Fundraising in the Workplace

Pudsey

Whether you work in a shop or office, factory or warehouse, why not shake your day up a bit and fundraise for this year's BBC Children in Need! Our Partners are joining in the Pudsey fun by stocking some great products to help raise funds for this year's Appeal.

Pudsey has come up with some great fundraising ideas for the workplace that you can download here, but here is a selection of ideas to get your fundraising efforts started:

Introduce a spare change box - perhaps a donation is required everytime someone has a cup of tea. You can even get your hands on a biscuit/donation box to help collect those Pudsey pounds. Or you may prefer to have a work pop quiz, where of course you would need some snazzy Pudsey pens for all your team.

Another idea is to have a bake off, with colleagues baking Pudsey cakes using Pudsey cake moulds or perhaps scones filled with Pudsey's very own Jam. You can also download some great Pudsey jam recipes to get you started.

And to work all that cake off, you could convince your boss the team need the afternoon off to play a sponsored sports game - which you may time with your Pudsey watch.

Alternatively, dress down days are always popular - providing everyone wears one Pudsey item! This could be this years must have bandana, a t-shirt, Pudsey ears, Lanyards or your own knitted jumper using a Pudsey pattern.

Of course, these are just a few suggestions to show how you can help raise money for this year's BBC Children in Need Appeal. There are hundreds of different ways to help raise money at work, the sky is the limit! So get your thinking cap on, call a team meeting, and your office could soon be helping to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.
