Pudsey is shaken and stirred by the online auction total
Bidding on the final item closed yesterday and we can announce that the total raised by the Children in Need online auction is an incredible £76,953.04!
The item which attracted the highest bid of £22,851 was, perhaps unsurprisingly, Daniel Craig's watch. A lap with Top Gear's white-clad man of mystery, the Stig, raised £15,203, whilst the Saturday Kitchen experience with James Martin fetched a tasty £3,556.
The autographed Pudsey bears remain a popular mainstay of the auction, with the boys from Il Divo attracting the highest bid. The top five Pudsey bears were as follows:
Il Divo - £416
Sir Terry Wogan - £300
McFly - £260
Strictly Come Dancing's Tom Chambers & Camilla Dallerup - £260
Meatloaf - £255
For every penny raised by the auction, a penny will go to projects helping disadvantaged children in the UK, and we would like to say a big thank you to everybody who autographed merchandise, donated items, or bid online!
If you have any unique items or experiences that you would like to donate for next year's auction, please do get in touch by e-mailing pudsey@bbc.co.uk.
