Pudsey's Big Night In!

The big BBC Children in Need line-up has been announced! BBC Children in Need will return on Friday 20 November at 7.00pm on BBC One, with a variety of entertainment acts all doing their bit to raise money for disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.
Pudsey's good friend Terry Wogan will present the spectacular night of fun and fundraising with Tess Daly and Alesha Dixon. The seven hour show will come live from BBC Television Centre and will feature some of the UK’s top TV, musical and theatrical personalities and acts.
Highlights on the night will include live performances by Pixie Lott, Taylor Swift, Alesha Dixon, Spandau Ballet, Madness, Harry Connick Jr, Sugababes, Stereophonics, Little Boots, Paolo Nutini, Nolan Sisters, Cheryl Cole, Westlife, Alison Moyet and Annie Lennox.
Other highlights include: a special edition of Lark Rise to Candleford (where Sir Terry makes a guest appearance at the village Post Office!), a Children in Need performance of Strictly Come Dancing, the cast of The One Show recreating Fame, plus a musical extravaganza from Albert Square and the cast of EastEnders.
There will also be an exclusive preview of the Dr Who Christmas special, a Rat Pat classic performance from the cast of the Bill, a Queen medley courstesy of the cast of Hollyoaks, and contributions from the cast of Merlin, Casualty and top TV detective, Poirot.
The animals from Walk on the Wild Side will star in a Children in Need special sketch, and stars of the West End will be live in the studio, including Jason Donovan with the cast of Priscilla Queen of the Desert. Justin Lee Collins will perform a live version of a Tom Jones classic, and the Around the World in 80 Days partners, John Barrowman and Myleene Klass, are set to duet live in the studio. Also, the Dragons’ Den team will be donning hard hats and overalls to help renovate a Children in Need community centre in London.
Throughout the evening there will be special appeal messages from a host of celebrities, including Lewis Hamilton and Lady Gaga, and of course a very, very special, live performance by the BBC newsreaders.
The programme will also feature broadcasts from around the UK, as BBC presenters join their local communities to catch up with some energetic and creative fundraising exploits. So stock up on your pudsey goodies, bake your pudsey cakes, get your friends and family round, and enjoy ‘Pudsey's Big Night In’ while helping to make this year's Appeal a record breaker!
