Our avuncular host Terry Wogan is joined this year by Tess Daly and Fearne Cotton for the seven hour show, which will come live from BBC Television Centre and will feature some of the UK's top TV, musical and theatrical personalities and acts.

TV production teams have been setting their imaginations to work to help BBC Children in Need and this year will feature a Children's Masterchef and another popular musical number from Albert Square with the cast of EastEnders.
Our friends from The Bill return and will peform songs from The Blues Brothers - and no year would be complete without a very special live performance by the BBC newsreaders.
BBC Children in Need has also caught the eye of Life on Mars copper Gene Hunt. He's softened ever so slightly since moving down south to join Ashes to Ashes and he's got a surprise up his sleeve especially for Pudsey.
The programme will also feature broadcasts from around the UK, as BBC presenters join their local communities to catch up with some energetic and creative fundraising exploits.
This year the fundraising theme is Do Something Different, so expect even more weird and wonderful fundraising events when you tune in to BBC One at 7pm on Friday 14 November. Last year's BBC Children in Need television broadcast raised over £19 million on the night and the 2007 total appeal eventually topped £37 million. Terry and Pudsey hope you can help make this year's appeal one to remember.
