Pudsey Tips: Fundraising at School

There's a whole heap of fun to be had raising money for BBC Children in Need at school, and by taking part in this year's Appeal your school will be making a huge difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.
Pudsey has come up with lots of fundraising ideas to kickstart your school's efforts, and here are some examples to get you started...
You could sponsor your teachers to dress up for the day, and you get to pick their outfit! You could have a Pudsey face painting stall at breaktime, do a sponsored bike ride to school, or pay to wear your pyjamas all day (and get extra time in bed as you don't have to get dressed!)
Maybe you'd like to hold a talent contest that you have to pay to enter, or you could have a Pudsey cake and biscuit sale at your breaktime tuck shop. You could get the whole school to wear their Pudsey bandanas, or maybe you could have a Pudsey drawing competition. Or perhaps you could run a prize draw to be head teacher for the morning, where you get to make the rules!
And if you're a teacher, please visit our learning zone, where you can find lesson plans and tips to help teach your pupils about disadvantage in the UK, and to help explain where the money goes that schools raise for Children in Need. You can also direct pupils to our playground page where they can take fantastic Children in Need quizzes, games and facts.
These are just a few suggestions to show how your school can help raise money for this year's BBC Children in Need Appeal. There are hundreds of things you could do, the sky is the limit! If you're still stuck for inspiration, you can get your fundraising pack crammed with lots of ideas today!
