Idea of the week

This week's idea is Pudsey's Big Night In
It's Appeal week and Pudsey is getting geared up for the big night on Friday 20 November! Make sure you're prepared for your Big Night In so you can watch an amazing line-up of fun, entertainment and celebrity antics all in aid of BBC Children in Need:
1. Invite all your friends to your house for a pyjama party on the big night
2. Get them all to pay to enter at the door
3. Stock up with all the ingredients you need to bake enough Pudsey goodies for the evening. You can get a 'Bake the Bear' kit from ASDA (whilst stocks last), or download some great recipes from our baking section.
4. Get your Pudsey ears, bandanas and other Pudsey goodies to ensure you all look the part whilst watching the show.
5. Download and make some Pudsey arts and crafts before the show starts- you could have a penalty box and fine anyone for mentioning a certain word or a celebrity's name, make some finger puppets to add to your Pudsey paraphernalia or have some colour in Pudsey and Blush pictures for the little ones to colour in and decorate the room.
6. Settle on the sofa with your Pudsey cakes and other goodies and enjoy a fabulous night of entertainment
7. Donate using your preferred method

Last week's idea is Pudsey's Got Talent
1. Tell all your colleagues family and friends about your Pudsey’s got talent competition. Use the event posters to help.
2. Set up your stage.
3. Invite your very own judging panel and audience to see a variety of talent and who will win your very own Pudsey’s got talent.
4. You could ask for a small entrance fee from your audience.
5. Get some Pudsey goodies to reward the most talented
6. Pay in your money to BBC Children in Need.

2 November's idea was Pudsey football match
1. Find your referee and football teams! You could make things even more interesting by challenging teachers to play their students or girls to play the boys, be imaginative.
2. Use the event posters to tell all your colleagues family and friends about your BBC Children in Need Football match.
3. You could ask for a small entrance fee from your audience.
4. Pay in your money to BBC Children in Need.
26 October's idea was a Bake the Bear!
1. Get your free 'Bake the Bear' kit from ASDA (whilst stocks last)
2. Decide where to hold your bear biscuit sale
3. Use the event posters to let everyone in your office, school or local community know about your bear biscuit sale.
4. Invite your friends to join in and bake some biscuits too!
5. Decorate your biscuit stand with bunting and other fab Pudsey goodies
6. Sell your yummy bear biscuits
7. Get people to judge who makes the best biscuits and award a special Pudsey prize
8. Take the money you have raised from your bear biscuits into ASDA and for every £5 you raise from the biscuits, ASDA will give you a Pudsey treat!

19 October's idea was a Pudsey Jumble Sale
1. Use the event posters to tell all your colleagues family and friends about your Pudsey Jumble sale. See who would like a host a stall.
2. Not only could you sell those bits and bobs you no longer need, but there are also lots of Pudsey themed stalls that you could include :
- Pudsey's arts and crafts stall - make and sell lots of home made Pudsey inspired goodies.
- Pudsey Bear biscuit and cake stall - make and sell lots of tasty Pudsey themed treats.
- Pudsey's dress up stall - not only can you knit your own Pudsey Jumper, you can also offerlots of other Pudsey inspired clothing including his famous bandana and even Pudsey ears! See our Clothes and Accessories section for some fantastic Pudsey attire.
3. Sell all your wonderful goodies.

12 October's idea was a Pudsey Bear Hunt
1. Tell all your colleagues family and friends about your Pudsey Bear Hunt. Use the event posters to let everyone know!
2. Hide your fun Pudsey prizes high and low make sure they are well hidden weather it be in your office, school or garden. See our buy stuff section section for fun Pudsey prizes.
3. You could ask for an entrance fee, for those taking part.
4. Let the search begin!

5 October's idea was a Pudsey Sports Day

1. First decide and prepare for the games you will play. There are a number of simple and fun sports that everyone can take part in. Such as:
- Three legged race - use a Pudsey bandana to tie your legs together for an amusing spotty race!
- Egg race - Give everyone a large spoon and a decorated boiled egg and see who can get to the end of the race the fastest with their egg.
- Pudsey Bowling Bash - Fill up thirty plastic bottles with an inch of sand or two of water. Mark up your lanes, and bowl away!
- Happy Hula Hoop Throw - Set up five hula hoops, ten to twenty feet away from your throwing point. Next collect five objects of different weights, shapes and sizes, and see who can get the most objects in their hoop.
- Happy hula hoop Marathon - Give your competitors a hula hoop and see who can spin it around their body the longest, to make things even more interesting; you could change what part of the body they use!
2. Use the event posters to tell all your colleagues, family and friends about your sports day, let everyone know.
3. Make sure you have a referee for each of your activities.
4. Charge people an entrance fee for your sports day and give the money to BBC Children in Need.
5. Sell Pudsey refreshments to everyone and add the money you get to your total. Take a look at our Pudsey recipes and our baking accessories for ideas.

28 Septemeber's idea was a Pudsey's Brilliant Bandana Day

2. Ask for a fee, for those taking part and donate the money to BBC Children in Need
3. Compare with your friends and invite a judging panel to see who:
- Can wear their bandana in the most imaginative way, weather it be where they wear it or how they customise their bandana and/or clothing. See our How will you wear yours? section for brilliant bandana ideas. - How many bandana accessories one person can wear!
