As a result of the tremendous support we receive from supporters across the UK, we're able to continue to fund fantastic projects which aim to help make positive changes to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people right here in the UK.

You can find out which projects are being funded in your area by checking our project map.

Below you can watch the clips from the 2010 Appeal to understand more about some of the situations children and young people have to cope with and how your money has helped them.

Visit here for information on how to donate.

You can also read and watch more stories from children and young people who have been helped by BBC Children in Need in your area.
