Online
Thursday 18 April (2.00pm) to Friday 10 May (midnight)
Use the Proms Planner, accessible via www.royalalberthall.com/account/promsplanner.aspx, to create your personal Proms Plan. Once completed, this is ready for you to submit as soon as booking opens at 9.00am on Saturday 11 May. The Proms Planner allows you to create and amend your personal Proms Plan at your leisure before tickets go on sale, at any time from 2.00pm on Thursday 18 April until midnight on Friday 10 May. Submitting your Proms Plan as soon as booking opens speeds
up the booking process and means that you may be more successful in securing your preferred tickets for concerts in high demand.
However, should you not wish to use the Proms Planner, you can visit www.royalalberthall.com from 9.00am on Saturday 11 May to book your tickets online. Please note that the website is likely to experience very high demand for tickets that day, so you may be placed in a queue.
How to use the Proms Planner
- From 2.00pm on Thursday 18 April select ‘Plan Your Proms Tickets’ at bbc.co.uk/proms. (You will be redirected to www.royalalberthall.com.)
- Select ‘Create My Proms Plan’. Then create an account (or log in if you are an existing user) and start choosing the concerts you would like to attend, along with the number of tickets and preferred seating area. You can amend your Proms Plan at any time until midnight on Friday 10 May.
Please note: this is a request system and there is no guarantee that the tickets you select in your Proms Plan will be available once booking has opened.
- From 9.00am on Saturday 11 May visit www.royalalberthall.com and log in to your Proms Plan in order to submit it. In the case of exceptionally high demand you may be held in an online waiting room before you are able to log in: you will be informed how many people precede you in the queue (you do not need to refresh the page). You must submit your Proms Plan in order to make a booking.
- Your Proms Plan will now have been updated to reflect live ticket availability and you will be given the chance to cancel tickets or choose alternatives should your selected tickets or seating areas have become unavailable.
- Confirm your online booking by submitting your Proms Plan and entering your payment details.
- Your booking will be confirmed by email.
Please note: it is not possible to book entire boxes online. If you would like to book a full box, call the Box Office on 0845 401 5040* from 9.00am on Saturday 11 May.
The ‘Select Your Own Seat’ option is not available via the Proms Planner or during the first few days that Proms tickets are on sale. You will be allocated the best available places within your chosen seating area. This is to allow as many customers as possible to book as efficiently as possible and to speed up the queue during the period of high demand.
If you have any queries about how to use the Proms Planner, call the Royal Albert Hall Box Office on 0845 401 5040*.
