16 July 2010: BBC Proms 2010 kicks off
The start of a two-month season of nearly a hundred concerts. If you've never been to the Proms why not try 'Promming' (standing for a concert) for just £5? Promming tickets are only available on the day of the concert, and are a great way to experience up close some of the world's greatest musicians play in the famous Royal Albert Hall - on a budget.
2 August 2010: Inspire Day
Inspire Day is open to anyone who's entered the Young Composers' Competition. It takes place in central London and is an opportunity to meet professional composers and musicians, other young composers and key music industry people, exchange ideas and get feedback on what you're doing. You'll hear the winning compositions in the Young Composers' Concert performed by the Aurora Orchestra and be given two free tickets for that evening's Prom at the Royal Albert Hall.
