Uniting the nation in song, the world-famous Last Night of the Proms is one of the hottest tickets in the musical calendar. Now in its fourteenth year, Proms in the Park is still one of London's most popular events. Sir Terry Wogan presents a host of internationally acclaimed stars, including Katherine Jenkins and Garđar Thór Cortes, with a special appearance from pop legend Barry Manilow. Proms in the Park favourites the BBC Concert Orchestra provide the accompaniment, conducted by Martin Yates. The party gets under way with BBC Radio 2 presenter Ken Bruce, the Counterfeit Stones and highlights from One Night of Queen with Gary Mullen and The Works.
