A summary of the various types of tickets available for the BBC Proms and how to buy them.

General Booking (from Tuesday 26 May)

In person: The Royal Albert Hall Box Office is located at Door 12 and is open 9.00am - 9.00pm daily. Note that no booking fee applies to tickets bought in person at the Hall.

The Last Night of the Proms

Because of the high demand for tickets to the Last Night of the Proms, special bookings apply.


Promming on the Day - Don't book, just turn up

Up to 1,400 standing places are available for each concert at the Royal Albert Hall. Weekend Promming Passes and Season Tickets can be booked in advance. Additionally, over 500 Arena and Gallery tickets are always on sale at the door from an hour beforehand, so you can just turn up on the day.


Proms Chamber Music at Cadogan Hall

From Tuesday 26 May you will be able to order tickets by telephone or in person at Cadogan Hall (on 020 7730 4500) or at the Royal Albert Hall (on 0845 401 5040*) as well as online. Tickets can be bought on the day of the concert - from Cadogan Hall only - from 10.00am (9.00am on Saturday 29, Sunday 30 and Monday 31 August).

Season Tickets

Frequent Prommers can save money by purchasing Arena or Gallery Season Tickets covering either the whole Proms season (including the Last Night) or only the first or second half (ie Proms 1-38 or Proms 39-75, excluding the Last Night).


Promming Tickets

Standing places are available in the Arena and Gallery on the day for £5.00.


Weekend Promming Pass

Beat the queues at the weekend and save money.


Family Tickets

The Proms are a great way to discover live music, and we encourage anyone over 5 years old to attend. Tickets for under-16s can be purchased at half-price in any seating area for all Proms except the Last Night (Prom 76). The Proms also offers a wide variety of family events including our Music Intro concerts, which offer families the chance to learn about the music and attend the concert for just £5 each.


Disabled Tickets

Disabled concert-goers (and a companion) receive a 50% discount on all ticket prices (except Arena and Gallery areas) for concerts at the Royal Albert Hall and for Proms Chamber Music concerts at the Cadogan Hall.
