'MaestroCam' - Full frontal

Regular concert-goers know that one of the most exciting places to sit in a hall is overlooking the stage. That's because you see the performers' view of the conductors and gain an insight into how they control the musicians and shape the music into a finished interpretation.

This year, we've selected a number of BBC Proms concerts which you can watch as if you were sitting in the orchestra itself!

MaestroCam - part of the Red button service for digital TV viewers - not only gives you the musicians' eye view of the conductor, but we're also offering a commentary on what you're seeing by one of the conductor mentors from BBC 2 TV's Maestro series, broadcast in the summer of 2008: Matthew Rowe, Peter Stark and Jason Lai.
