Your introduction to the BBC Proms starts with a free Family Music Intro workshop, introducing the concert's music in an interactive and fun way. Bring along an instrument if you want to play along with the workshop musicians, or just sit back and watch! You'll get a taster of the music you'll hear later on in the main concert by playing or hearing some of the tunes. Workshops are specially designed for children aged 7-plus and their families.
Your day continues at the world-famous BBC Proms, and whether it's Rachmaninov or jazz, piano music or Beethoven that sparks your interest, one thing's certain - by the time you take your seat in the magnificent Royal Albert Hall, you'll know a lot more than you did when you arrived for Family Music Intro!
All Family Music Intro events take place at the Britten Theatre, Royal College of Music.
