The Royal Geographical Society


The Royal Geographical Society Pre-Prom Talks, Films and Events will be shared between the Royal Albert Hall Auditorium and the Royal Geographical Society (RGS).

The RGS is situated 100 yards east of the Royal Albert Hall, at 1 Kensington Gore, London SW7 2AR.

How to get there


By Underground

South Kensington (District and Piccadilly lines)
High Street Kensington (Circle and District lines)

By Bus

The following buses stop outside the Royal Geographical Society:

No 9 (to Charing Cross or Hammersmith)
No 10 (to Euston, King’s Cross or Hammersmith)
No 52 (to Victoria, Notting Hill Gate or Willesden)

Note that the Royal Geographical Society lies outside the Central London Congestion Charging Zone

Pre-Proms Talks and Events at the Royal Geographical Society:

Admission is free to anyone who holds a ticket for the Prom that follows the talk.
