For the fifth year running, Singleton Park plays host to BBC Proms in the Park in Wales. Grant Llewellyn conducts the BBC National Orchestra and Chorus of Wales before linking up with the Royal Albert Hall and other Proms in the Park venues for the traditional finale. Audience participation, a pre-Prom community concert and fireworks will complete the occasion.
Travel information
By Car: Leave M4 at Junction 47, follow A483 for 2.7 miles to traffic lights (at the Marquis Arms) and turn right. Follow A4216 for approximately 1.5 miles (through two sets of traffic lights). After the petrol station and at the second mini roundabout turn right, follow the road to the traffic lights (Vivian Arms) and turn left, at the mini roundabout turn right, follow road to for approximately 200m and turn left into park. (Sign posted car park)
Parking: Bishop Gore Comprehensive School (off De la Beche Road) or Recreation Ground (off Oystermouth Road).
Disabled Parking: Reserved area close to front of Bishop Gore Car Park.
Other facilities available include a raised Accessible Viewing Platform, which has unreserved admission and toilet facilities located nearby.
