The world-famous LAST NIGHT OF THE PROMS unites the nation in song, and there’s no better way to experience it than with your friends and family in the open air. Now in its twelfth year, Proms in the Park is one of London’s most popular events, so why not pack a picnic, gather everyone together and head down to Hyde Park to become part of the climax to the world’s greatest music festival. As well as seeing a host of international musical stars playing live, you get to join the Last Night singalong in a firework finale.

Lesley Garrett
SIR TERRY WOGAN returns to Hyde Park to host a charismatic line-up of musical talent, with this year’s programme headed by top opera star LESLEY GARRETT and pop icon WILL YOUNG. Joining them are sensational Peruvian tenor JUAN DIEGO FLÓREZ and Young Musician of the Year, clarinettist MARK SIMPSON. As ever, CARL DAVIS and the full BBC CONCERT ORCHESTRA will accompany the performers and fill the park with orchestral favourites.

Will Young
Why not arrive early with a picnic to see the fun kick off with CBBC favourites DICK & DOM compering a line-up featuring T-Rex tribute band T-REXTASY, TONY HADLEY and his Big Band, identical twin opera singers RYANDAN, and X Factor’s CHICO.The evening’s finale provides the traditional live big-screen link-up to the Royal Albert Hall, while you sing your socks off in the irresistible sequence of familiar tunes – including Land of Hope and Glory, Jerusalem and the National Anthem, led by the ROYAL CHORAL SOCIETY. It’s a magical night out in the green heart of London.
