Khalid Ziane is a gendarme on the Oliver Hughes case. Ziane is taken aback when a junior gendarme, Laurence, is given seniority on the investigation. Ziane has a dark and secretive past, which is uncovered by a ruthless journalist.
About Said Taghmaoui
Said is a French actor and screenwriter, best known internationally for his portrayal of ‘Saïd’ in the critically-acclaimed French film La Haine (1995), a performance which earned him a César Award nomination, for Most Promising Actor. As well as being one of its lead characters, Said co-wrote the film with director Mathieu Kassovitz.
His star turn led to further roles in French and international cinema. Said’s film credits include The Garden of Eden (1998), Hideous Kinky (1998), Three Kings (1999), and The Good Thief (2002), which also features Tchéky Karyo, who he appears alongside in The Missing. Siad also starred as ‘Farid’ in the film adaptation of Khaled Hosseini’s best-selling novel The Kite Runner (2007) and as ‘Suarez’ in Vantage Point (2008). Recently he appeared in the Academy Award nominated and Golden Globe Award winning American Hustle (2013).
Said’s television work includes Sleeper Cell (2006), Secrets (2007), Lost (2009) and 2013’s Touch, starring alongside lead actor Kiefer Sutherland.
