As a passionate humanitarian and campaigner, Clive Stafford Smith has always put the best interests of others before his own. After his graduation from Columbia Law School, New York, Clive spent nine years working on death penalty cases and civil rights issues. To date he has represented more than 300 prisoners facing the death penalty with a 98% victory rate.

Clive strives to make a difference and views the loss of life as unacceptable. In an effort to continue to raise awareness, he has even endured a hunger strike in solidarity with the last British man in Guantanamo Bay.
