Representing Moldova is Aliona Moon with O Mie.

Starting her Eurovision journey in 2012, Aliona Moon performed in Baku as a backing singer for Moldovan entrant Pasha Parfeny. This year the tables have turned as Aliona takes centre stage and Pasha takes on the role of songwriter and producer.

For Eurovision I am most looking forward to the positive emotions and experience
Aliona Moon

Aliona credits her experience last year for giving her the determination to participate in the contest as a lead artist, seeing off competition from 11 other Moldovan hopefuls in the national selections.

Aliona’s first brush with fame was on the TV talent show Fabrica de Staruri 2 (Star Factory) where she came third. She went on to form pop band Thumbs Up with two of her former talent show colleagues. Afterwards Aliona enjoyed a solo career winning awards at the Martisor Dorohoian and Dan Spataru international musical festivals held in Romania.
