DCI Erin Gray
Erin Gray has found her vocation fighting corruption within the police force.
Highly intelligent and ambitious Gray has risen up the ranks quickly, despite leaving the Serious and Serial Unit in disgrace after Ripley smeared her name to save Luther’s reputation.
Unable to forgive Luther and Ripley for stitching her up, Erin is determined to root out corruption in the police force, and in doing so have her revenge upon Luther. However as she watches Stark become increasingly obsessed with Luther, she starts to wonder if she has chosen the wrong path.
Since graduating from LAMDA, Nikki has performed in many on-screen, theatre and radio productions.
On stage, Nikki has appeared in Richard Eyre's production of Welcome To Thebes at the National Theatre; Twelfth Night at the Bristol Old Vic, for which she received an Ian Charleson Award nomination in 2004; The Gods Weep for the RSC and Hampstead Theatre; World Music at the Crucible Theatre and the Donmar Warehouse; Love and Information at Royal Court Theatre; and numerous productions for the Royal Shakespeare Company.
On the big screen, Nikki has appeared in Ralph Fiennes' Coriolanus; The Disappeared; the 2006 remake of The Omen and Cargo.
Nikki's numerous TV credits include the BBC's adaptation of Andrea Levy's award winning novel, Small Island, the apocalyptic series Survivors, The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency, The Canterbury Tales, Silent Witness, The Line of Beauty, Spooks, Sinbad and Torchwood.
She will next be seen in the film Jupiter Ascending, directed by Lana & Andy Wachowski, and in the HBO/Cinemax television pilot Quarry.
