Chris Addison

Chris was a regular on Mock the Week between series 10 and series 12.

Chris Addison – star of Academy Award nominated In The Loop and BAFTA Award winning The Thick of It, is one of the UK’s most prolific performers.

In Autumn 2011, he embarked on a national tour of his show The Time Is Now Again, selling out theatres nationwide and recording ‘Chris Addison Live’ at London’s Bloomsbury Theatre.

In 2013 Chris starred alongside Steve Coogan in The Look of Love, a feature film directed by Michael Winterbottom.

Chris reprised his role as Professor David Blood on Channel 4’s Skins and appeared on a variety of entertainment shows including Live at the Apollo, QI, 8 Out Of 10 Cats and as a host and panellist on Have I Got News For You.

As a live performer he has taken five solo shows to the Edinburgh Fringe - two of which saw him nominated for the Perrier Award. Chris is also the author of two books: It Wasn’t Me and Cautionary Tales for Grown-Ups, and his radio credits include BBC Radio 5 Live’s 7 Day Sunday, and for BBC Radio 4, Chain Reaction, The Ape That Got Lucky, Political Animal and more.
