Partner Dai has been a qualified Vet for over 30 years. He’s still just as passionate about his chosen career as the day he started.
Dai first became involved in a veterinary practice known as Pugh and Jones as a schoolboy in 1973. 40 years on, he’s seen the practice change dramatically, from the name change to St James Veterinary Group, to additional branches, new faces and specialist services. Having graduated from Bristol in 1980, he joined the practice in 1982, becoming a Partner in 1984. Dai oversees the running of the flagship practice at Parkway, which is home to St James’ hospital unit, overnight accommodation and isolation rooms. Dai’s dogs Bert and Millie are often found keeping him company in his office at Parkway. Brought up in Morriston, Dai still lives close to the practice, and his growing animal family includes cats, dogs, donkeys and rabbits, who all enjoy the views from their home overlooking the Swansea Valley.
