Russell Kane

Winner of the Fosters Edinburgh Comedy Award 2010 and the Barry Award 2011, Russell Kane is once again your host for the new series of Live At The Electric.

Russell has been touring the UK with his latest live show Smallness. Proving he has many strings to his bow, 2012 saw the publication of Russell's debut novel The Humorist, to rave reviews, truly marking his entry into the literary sphere.

Aside from winning two of comedy’s most prestigious awards, the last couple of years have been prolific for Russell. He rejoined ITV2’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here Now presenting team, hosted BBC Three’s Unzipped, presented Freak Like Me, a 6 part series for BBC Three, he wrote a play called The Great British Country Fete for the Bush Theatre, and he made an acclaimed appearance on BBC One’s flagship live comedy show, Live at the Apollo.
