Meet the narrator

Stephen Mangan is an award-winning British stage, screen and radio actor. Theatre roles have ranged from the classics to contemporary drama, while television work includes BAFTA-winning comedy Green Wing and the title role in Dirk Gently. 


Stephen is the voice of Postman Pat in the 2013 3D film, and he has recently starred in Ron Howard’s feature Rush. Upcoming projects include series three of BBC comedy Episodes.

Meet the composer

For the last 25 years David has worked as a professional composer writing music for film and television. His film scores have been nominated at the Ivors and the Emmys. He is best known for his many wildlife film scores and notable recent successes include the BBC series: South Pacific, Secrets of Our Living Planet and Ice Age Giants


His music for The Shard, performed by the London Symphony orchestra, can be heard at the top of London’s tallest building.
