A Road Trip to War

Duration: 26:36

Syria has been in a state of civil war for 2 and a half years - the UN estimates that more than a hundred thousand people have been killed.

Aid organisations say that parts of the country are so dangerous that civilians are being left without help. 22 red cross volunteers alone have been killed there.

Despite these dangers small British aid convoys are making the journey overland to Syria, packing second-hand ambulances with aid and driving there.

Catrin Nye travelled with one of these convoys, a group of British Muslims, taking more risks than most.
