The distinguished documentary maker Norma Percy presents the inside story of the invasion of Iraq and the ensuing decade of conflict, as told from the point of view of the senior decision-makers who were involved.

Part Two looks at the mistakes made early in the occupation during the period 2003 to 2004.

Interviewees include: Tony Blair - former UK Prime Minister, Dick Cheney - US Vice-President, Colin Powell - former US Secretary of State and Paul Wolfowitz - former US Deputy Secretary of Defence. The programme hears from the first two American administrators of Iraq, Jay Garner and Paul Bremer, plus military chiefs George Casey, Ray Odierno and David Petraeus. Iraqi interviewees include Naji Sabri - former Foreign Minister and former Prime Ministers Ayad Allawi and Ibrahim Jaafari plus the current Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.
