How much have attitudes to mental health moved on?

This Sunday Dr Chetna Kang and Toby Friedner ask how much have attitudes to mental health moved on?

Mental Health charities have welcomed a move by Asda to withdraw a mental patient fancy dress costume that has been on sale in their online halloween display.

The costume included a horror mask, a meat cleaver and a medical gown splattered with fake blood.

The packaging reads, "everyone will be running away from you in fear in this mental patient fancy dress costume...its a terrifying halloween option."

So is this just harmless fun or evidence that attitudes to mental illness haven't changed?
