Hear how cancer can't keep one woman from her fundraising activities

Duration:
3 hours
First broadcast:
Thursday 29 August 2013

Meet the courageous woman who’s hasn’t let cancer get in the way of her charity funding. Rosemary Wharton is raising funds for an outreach centre in Church Lawton with a twenty-two mile walk around the undulating Staffordshire Moorlands this weekend - despite being diagnosed with terminal liver cancer.

We'll also find out if your local watering hole has made it into this year’s pub bible, and chat to Chris Wood of South Cheshire, who has started a daily diary with a difference - it's all hand drawn in cartoons!
