Esther Rantzen's Reggae Anthems

Duration: 12:56

Esther discovered the sound coming from the shanty towns of Jamaica when she was studying at Oxford in the 60s.

She was one of the first 'rude gals' in the UK, was thrown out of the BBC for her natty dreads and befriended Aswad in the 80s.

She is a walking encyclopaedia of reggae music.
